Pupil Leadership Opportunities
At our school, we are proud to offer a wide range of pupil leadership groups that give children the opportunity to develop confidence, responsibility and teamwork skills while learning about the British value of democracy. Each September, pupils apply and are elected to leadership roles by their peers, helping them understand the importance of voting, representation and having a voice within their community. Our leadership groups play a vital role in ensuring that pupils can contribute to important decisions and help shape school life.
The School Council represents the views of pupils across the school, gathering ideas from classmates and working with staff to improve the school environment and pupil experience.
Our Digital Leaders promote safe and responsible use of technology, support pupils with digital learning and help staff trial new educational technology.
Eco Warriors lead environmental projects, encourage sustainable practices and help raise awareness of ways to protect our planet.
Reading Ambassadors inspire a love of reading by recommending books, supporting reading events and encouraging younger pupils to enjoy literature.
Our Wellbeing Ambassadors help promote positive mental health, kindness and emotional wellbeing throughout the school.
Anti-Bullying Ambassadors work to create a safe, inclusive environment by raising awareness of bullying and encouraging respectful relationships.
Play Leaders organise games and activities at breaktimes, helping younger children to play cooperatively and enjoy active, positive social interactions.
Our House Captains lead and motivate their house teams, organise house events and encourage participation in competitions throughout the year.
Through these leadership roles, pupils develop valuable life skills, take on meaningful responsibilities and play an active part in making our school community the very best it can be.
