We are very fortunate to have a super library at Upton Meadows. Our library is at the heart of our school: a bright and exciting part of school. The children (and adults) enjoy their weekly visits to see Mrs Rew our librarian but you will often find children in there in their spare time too especially when the latest new releases arrive on the shelves.
We have a wide range of fiction and non-fiction as well as newspapers, comics and magazines. Mrs Rew runs reading activities in the reading shed at break and lunchtimes.

Lost/Damaged Loans
-
Firstly, please help your child to find and return it, if possible.
-
If the book is damaged, please do not try repairing it and please do not throw it away; simply return it. If it is beyond repair, or lost, please consider buying one or more of the books from our Amazon wishlist: https://amzn.eu/7Jnk7b8 . By doing so, you will help to ensure that our school library stock is not depleted and that all children can continue to enjoy these valuable resources.
-
Importantly, please tell us your decision (e.g. to purchase a replacement) so that your child may resume borrowing books. If, for understandable reasons, you don't make a wishlist purchase, your child may still borrow books again, but must read them in school.
